Skinfaxi frá Þóreyjarnúpi now stands in Sweden since Halldór brought him when he moved there. He was evaluated when he was 5 years old as 1st prize
with 7.97 for conformation and 8.37 for riding ability, overall score 8.17.
Skinfaxi is by the stallion Oddur frá Selfossi
who won an honorary award for breeding at Landsmót 2002. His mother is Stóra-Brúnka who descended directly from Gamla-Jörp.
Skinfaxi is a big, beautiful stallion with a lot of personality and expression. He is palomino with a very long mane and tail. He is 14 hands high, 5-gaited with large animated gaits. His strongest
characteristic is his temperament and mind which make him very easy to work with and be around.
There are already several promising offspring by him. For example, Glófaxi frá Þóreyjarnúpi, a 1st prize stallion who stands in Sweden. Two other offspring are the 1st prize mare
Þóra frá Skáney and the palomino 2nd prize mare Þruma frá Bessastaðir who did very well in tölt competitions last year.

Several of his offspring are still young
and it will be exciting to follow them in the coming years.
Skinfaxi breeds many interesting colors: palomino, yellow dun, red with
silver mane and tail, golden black and, depending on the mare, palomino pinto and palomino dun. Most offspring have good mane and tail.
